Broadspectrum and Cadagua sign MoU to pursue water projects

Broadspectrum exists in the Australasian water market as a provider of asset improvement, maintenance and operation services to utility clients, including SA Water, Gippsland Water, Water Corporation, Queensland Urban Utilities, and South East Water in Australia, and to Watercare and Far North District Council in New Zealand.

Cadagua specialises in design, process engineering, construction and operation services to complex water, wastewater, advanced water treatment and desalination plants, and operates across Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Broadspectrum’s Chief Executive, Urban Infrastructure, Sandra Dodds anticipates the partnership will be highly significant for the industry.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to work within our group of companies, with Cadagua, and combine their process engineering and operations capability with Broadspectrum’s local presence and track record in asset improvement and maintenance,” she said.

“We look forward to working closely on several forthcoming design and construction and design-build-operate-maintain projects.”

Cadagua’s Managing Director, Pablo Riesco is equally excited about the opportunity of broadening the organisation’s presence in the Pacific.
