Building construction and engineering company Georgiou Group has announced a new addition to the Advisory Board.
Brian Riggall has joined the Board as a non-executive member, bringing 35 years of experience in the construction industry to the role.
Mr Riggall has held senior leadership positions at Baulderstone and Seymour Whyte, and has experience in growing businesses.
Georgiou Group Chief Executive Officer John Georgiou said Mr Riggall has played a significant role in the growth of the business under his direction.
“He brings a strong knowledge of strategy and execution to the Advisory Board and will assist greatly in the growth of Georgiou in the near future,” Mr Georgiou said.
Mr Riggall will replace John Trio, an inaugural non-executive board member and chairman from 2010 to 2016, who will retire from the board on 30 June 2018.
“Joe has been an instrumental member of the Georgiou Advisory Board since its inception in 2003. Having worked on some of WA’s largest infrastructure projects, his experience and sound knowledge of civil engineering has seen Georgiou confidently move into new markets and successfully grow the business,” Mr Georgiou said.
“We would like to thank Joe for his many years of commitment and dedication and wish him well for the future.”
