Fleet technology specialist, MiX Telematics, has won Australasia’s Company Driver Safety Award and was highly commended in the Fleet Product Safety category at the 2017 Brake Fleet Safety Awards held in Auckland, New Zealand.
The awards, presented by Brake – the national road safety charity that works to prevent road deaths and injuries and support people bereaved and injured in crashes across New Zealand and Australia – recognise the achievements of those working to reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers and celebrate best practice in managing road risk.
In Australia, MiX Telematics has gained recognition for its work with a leading global logistics giant to help improve customer service and improve fleet safety.
“Clients across the globe leverage our broad product and service portfolio to drive improvements in driver behaviour, resulting in safer and more efficient operations,” said Charles Tasker, Group Chief Operating Officer at MiX Telematics.
“We are very pleased to be recognised for our contribution to making Australasia’s roads safer.”
