Mark Pettigrew has been appointed the new Regional Director ANZ at Network Rail Consulting and will commence his role on 14 May.
Mr. Pettigrew will be lead and develop Network Rail Consulting’s business – the wholly owned international consultancy arm of Network Rail, the owner and operator of Britain’s mainline railway – in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining the business, Mr. Pettigrew was based in Northern Queensland, delivering the business case for the Townsville Eastern Access Rail Corridor Study for Building Queensland, to improve rail access to the Port of Townsville.
Before this, he ran the Australian and New Zealand business for a major global engineering house, which contributed to his wealth of knowledge in the delivery of consulting services and client outcomes.
“I am excited to embark on this national role with a proven provider during a period of unprecedented and sustained growth,” Mr. Pettigrew said in a statement.
Nigel Ash, Managing Director, welcomed Mr. Pettigrew’s appointment.
“It is a great pleasure to welcome Mark to Network Rail Consulting as Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand. Mark brings extensive experience of leading consultancy businesses, that will be invaluable for expanding our position in the region.”
