According to Northline, the new state-of-the-art 10,440m² facility, being built at Regency Park, will be able to accommodate B-double movements and is expected to open in early 2017.

“With its headquarters in Adelaide, Northline is one of Australia’s leading supply-chain providers and it is great to see them expanding their operations in Adelaide with this new logistics facility,” Minister Mullighan said.

“Our investment in upgrading the north-south corridor will considerably improve freight productivity and freight accessibility to Port Adelaide, industrial centres, Adelaide Airport, rail and road freight terminals, and inter-modal facilities for businesses such as Northline.”

The site will also be close to Adelaide’s north-south corridor, which is currently being upgraded with a $2.5 billion investment from the Federal and State Governments.

Northline’s $23 million investment in its Adelaide transport and logistics facility is part of a $98 million national investment in creating new facilities in four States and Territories.

Northline was established in northern Adelaide in 1983 and has grown into a national firm speciliasing in road and rail freight management services; warehousing and distribution; global freight forwarding and mining, construction, oil & gas logistics.
