Applications for Round 4 of the $22.5 million Stronger Communities Programme are now open to help improve local infrastructure and provide essential community equipment.
Round two of the Building Better Regions Fund – Infrastructure Projects stream has given 136 regional projects the green light, with a total project value of $459 million.
A new strategic planning tool is being developed to support the $9.3 billion Melbourne to Brisbane Inland Rail and help regional Australians maximise the benefits of the project.
The winners of this year’s awards range from renewable energy projects, solar energy infrastructure through to road safety innovation.
The Inland Rail offices have now opened in Toowoomba, Dubbo and Albury-Wodonga along the 1700 kilometre project.
