The Victorian Government has announced a consortium as the preferred bidders to deliver the $1 billion Rail Infrastructure Alliance works package on Melbourne’s Metro Tunnel.
The consultancy firm’s new technical director will be based in Victoria and responsible for leading its tunnel projects and pursuing new opportunities across the country and Asia-Pacific.
Delivery improvements will reduce community impacts and decrease the number of required construction sites on the WestConnex project.
Sydney Motorway Corporation has appointed the design and consultancy firm as the sole Independent Certifier to WestConnex M4-M5 Link 3A, Mainline Tunnel Works Project.
Two joint ventures have been shortlisted to build the Rozelle Interchange and Iron Cove Link on the final M4-M5 Link stage of the $16.8 billion project.
New Australian Bureau of Statistics figures released this week show engineering construction has grown 39.8 per cent in Victoria since December 2014.
