A contract has been awarded for maintenance, service activation and services related to aerial infrastructure across the nbn network in all of Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania and the ACT.
The contract has been awarded to Ventia, which marks the extension of the company’s ongoing partnership with NBN co, which it’s been servicing since 2010, delivering end-to-end services, including design, construction, on-demand deployment, field services, network operations and more.
Ventia’s Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Dean Banks said the company was looking forward to growing the existing partnership with NBN Co.
“We are proud to have been a trusted long-term partner to NBN Co and are excited to further extend our relationship and support nbn’s field evolution strategy,” Banks said.

Ventia’s wider involvement in the nbn network includes designing and installing fibre optic cable for new development estates across Victoria, Queensland, NSW and Tasmania, as well as building the essential links between exchanges across Australia, on top of connecting homes to the network.
The new contract will officially commence from September 2025.
