Key government and industry leaders at the 2015 AAPA Workshop Series: Quality Roads, Fixed Budgets

Expert speakers have unveiled their topics for the upcoming 2015 Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA) National Workshop Series: Quality Roads, Fixed Budgets.

International and local guest speakers will be covering topic such as: what a Quality Road looks like in the USA, How new technology will impact on road design, construction and maintenance, and how the NZ/Christchurch earthquakes redefined road user expectations.

This one-day workshop will bring together experts from Government, Industry & Academia to:

  • Define Quality Roads,
  • Share strategies for optimum project outcomes,
  • Set expectations,
  • Explore the future of Australian roads,
  • Help forge a common strategy for delivery of Quality Roads

Expert speakers travelling the nation include:

  • Rita Leahy, P.E., California Asphalt Pavement Association
  • John Whiteoak, Lecturer of Organisational Change and Development, University of Sunshine Coast
  • Sherif Mohamed, Professor at School of Engineering, Griffith University
  • Gerard Keynes, Commercial Manager, BMD Constructions
