Accelerating diversity: 19th International Flexible Pavements Conference

The Australian Flexible Pavement Association is firmly committed to workforce diversity and inclusion and to support workplaces that respect and value all people.

Paving our way to carbon zero requires a concerted response through a collective effort across a diverse workforce. Attracting and retaining the best talent drives innovation, builds organisational capability and addresses skills shortages, increases productivity and best practice outcomes across all aspects of the flexible pavement industry, delivering on our sustainability goals.

For the first time – AfPA will be holding a specific Diversity and Inclusion stream over the entirety of the 19th International Flexible Pavements Conference 2023 ‘Safely Paving the way to Carbon Zero’ to be held in Brisbane from 30 October to 1 November 2023 at the Brisbane Convention Exhibition Centre.

AfPA is strongly encouraging those long term supporters and attendees of the Conference to look within their organisations at their workforce and see who of those had not traditionally been to an AfPA Conference that can benefit from the range of topics being discussed to attract, retain and support diversity and inclusion within our industry.
