CEA has expanded with two new branches in Queensland following the acquisition of equipment supplier Terrequipe.

The official handover of the Rockhampton and Mackay branches took place on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, with both locations now operating under the CEA business trading name. Employees at both locations have also transitioned to CEA.

The new branches will form part of CEA’s Northern Region, with the Brisbane-based operation providing support to ensure a smooth transition for the staff currently at both locations.

Wes Henshall, Executive General Manager of the Northern Region for CEA, said the expansion into Rockhampton and Mackay is an exciting move for the company.

“It’s a testament to our focus on growing the business and our dedication to working with customers across industry segments we know well and are highly proficient in supporting,” said Henshall.

“We are also pleased to welcome the experienced teams at these locations into the CEA business and look forward to strengthening our relationships while providing exceptional service to customers within the region.”

Hylton Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of CEA said the decision to expand into Rockhampton and Mackay reflects CEA’s long-term vision for growth and a commitment to being closer to customers in critical regions.

“By integrating these additional branches into the business, we are not only expanding our footprint; we are reinforcing our position to deliver superior service, comprehensive after-sales support, and to be a reliable partner for customers within the agriculture, construction, mining, and earthmoving industries.

“Since announcing the acquisition, we have received extremely positive feedback from the market, and with over 45 years of industry experience we are confident our business understands the market requirements, and how best to meet the evolving demands of the customer base going forward.”
