Decmil secures $37M VIC road contracts

Designs have been released for Melbourne’s North East Link project to residents in the city’s north east.

The company’s Victorian business unit has been selected as contractor for two new infrastructure projects in Victoria, including a section of Plenty Road Upgrade.Decmil Group has been selected as contractor for two new infrastructure projects in Victoria totalling $37 million.

The company’s Victorian business unit will undertake the $29 million contract from VicRoads to design and construct the Plenty Road Upgrade between McKimmies Road and Bush Boulevard in Mill Park.

It has also been awarded an $8 million contact by Melton City Council for the construction of the Westwood Drive Extension. The scope of the project includes construction of a new road between Fydler Avenue and Tenterfield Drive, as well as a new bridge over Kororoit Creek in Burnside Heights.

The most recent contract awards follow the commencement of a $60 million contract relating to the construction of approximately 8.9km of road duplication works for Section 3 of the Princes Highway between Warncoort and Colac East.
