The Downer Group has announced the appointment of an Independent Director.
Nicole Hollows will take the position of Non-executive Director, beginning on the 19 June 2018. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of SunWater Limited, a Queensland Government owned corporation.
Ms Hollows was formerly the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Macarthur Coal Limited, Managing Director of ACMI Group and Interim Chair of Queensland Rail Limited.
She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of Chief Executive Women and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
She holds a Bachelor of Business – Accounting and a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting from the Queensland University of Technology.
Downer Chairman Mike Harding said Ms Hollows was an experienced Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer with extensive experience in operational management, account and finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital management and corporate government across both the public and private sectors in mining, utilities and rail.
