Downer has announced the resignation of Group Chief Financial Officer Michael Ferguson.
Ferguson joiner Downer as Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer in May 2014. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer in October 2016.
Ferguson will be leaving Downer over the coming six months after a replacement has been appointed and a transition has taken place. The company has already commenced its search for a new CFO.

Downer EDI Limited CEO Peter Tompkins thanked Ferguson for his contributions to the company over the past nine years.
“I consider Michael to be one of the best commercial and financial professionals I have worked with. Importantly, he has built a strong team around him with significant depth in capability. I am very appreciative of him staying on over the coming months to assist with the transition process,” Tompkins said.
