Dozens of abstracts have been submitted for AAPA 16th International Flexible Pavements Conference at the Gold Coast in SeptemberDozens of abstracts have been submitted in preparation for the 16th Australia Asphalt Pavement Association International Flexible Pavements Conference in September this year.

A call for papers has seen numerous abstracts submitted for presentation at the annual Conference covering the likes of: high-modulus asphalt (EME2), Fatigue Endurance Limit (FEL), next-generation binder for airport asphalt, fibre-reinforced asphalt concrete and more.

International guests and local experts will converge on the Gold Coast from September 13 to 16 to discuss a variety of topics under the theme of Innovation Driving Value.

Early bird rates close soon for the conference, which will explore some of the next-generation product and equipment technologies set to define the future of the road sector.

What does Innovation Driving Value mean?

Innovation:

  • Unveiling proven technologies to help us be better, smarter
  • Learning about new products, new business models, new solutions to old problems
  • Providing a catalyst for the growth and success (providing “light bulb” moments to stay relevant and up to speed)
