Feedback has been tabled on the draft structure plans for community infrastructure around six Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East stations in Victoria.
The public was encouraged throughout March and April to provide submissions to the drat structure plans and daft planning scheme amendments, focused on developments around the SRL East precincts at Cheltenham, Clayton, Monash, Glen Waverley, Burwood and Box Hill.
More than 800 submissions have been received, with the Victorian Government reporting that more than 23,000 visited the Engage Victoria page, with the draft structure plans being downloaded more than 11,000 times.

This included feedback on building heights, traffic congestion, SRL East rail infrastructure, housing types, public transport, bike and walking paths and more.
On top of the submissions, the Victorian Government also sought feedback via 21 community events, information sessions, webinars, emails and phone calls with locals.
Public hearings and the establishment of an advisory committee will follow, with every submission set to be reviewed.
Structure plans and planning scheme amendments are expected to be finalised in 2026.
