Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is seeking feedback on the potential future upgrades of the Point Cook Road and Central Avenue Intersection in Melbourne’s south-east, as well as the Ballan Road intersection at Greens and McGrath roads in Wyndham Vale.
The potential upgrade of the Point Cook Road and Central Avenue Intersection would help to reduce travel times, improve safety and cater for a growing number of vehicle movements in the area.
From 13 March to 2 April 2023, MRPV is seeking feedback from the community to help inform planning for the potential upgrade. This feedback will be used to better understand how the upgrade could impact the local community and local businesses that use connected roads.

This comes as development continues on the Business Case which is expected to be released in late 2023. Roadside technical investigations are also underway.
For the potential future upgrade of the Ballan Road intersection at Greens and McGrath roads in Wyndham Vale, MRPV will be seeking feedback until April 9.
Potential options currently being considered include upgrading the intersection and installing traffic signals, improving public transport infrastructure at the intersection and improving walking and cycling infrastructure at the intersection.
