National civil and construction company Georgiou Group has become a member of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia.
The Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that promotes sustainable infrastructure practices through assessment indicators such as the Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating scheme, covering the whole lifespan of a project from planning through to construction and operation.

The ISC work to improve standards across the industry by driving sustainable design outcomes in addition to providing ongoing knowledge and support.
According to Georgiou Group, the move to become a member of the ISC reflects its commitment to sustainability across the lifecycle of its projects, transcending into social, cultural, environmental, and economic outcomes.
Georgiou states it looks forward to continuing its work with ISC and building a productive ongoing relationship, now as a member.
