The Georgiou Group has announced the appointment of Rob Monaci as its new CEO.
He will take over from inaugural CEO John Georgiou, who has led the company for 20 years, on 1 August.
Mr Monaci has been a part of Georgiou Group’s leadership team and has led the NSW business since 2014.
John Georgiou will move to the Chairman position on the company’s board, replacing Gerhard Vorster who will remain on the board.
Executive General Manager Gary Georgiou will now oversee the Queensland and NSW businesses.
“Rob is an exceptional leader. In the past two years he has led our growth in NSW and established the Georgiou brand in the transport sector within the state,” said John Georgiou.
“We have a great culture, the broadest capability in the market and a winning strategy that has enabled us to grow strongly. Building further on our success is a challenge I accept with great determination,” said Mr Monaci.
“Georgiou is in great shape and has a very solid base on which to build and I look forward to continuing to tap John’s knowledge and experience as Chairman,” he said.
