Chisholm CEO Rick Ede said the announcement was a welcome boost for Chisholm apprentices who can now save more than $400 a year on their car registration.

“This is great news for our apprentices and it will help keep more students in TAFE to complete their apprenticeships, which is the most important thing,” he said.

“It was also a fantastic opportunity to show Premier Andrews and Minister Donnellan around the campus, they were very impressed by the facilities we have here in Frankston,” Dr Ede said.

Premier Daniel Andrews, Minister for Roads Luke Donnellan, and Member for Frankston Paul Edbrooke visited Chisholm’s Frankston campus to observe progress on the Frankston redevelopment project, with phase one set to be opened later in 2018.

“We’re very excited about what’s happening at our Frankston campus and look forward to having the Premier back later this year when we open the new facility,” Dr Ede said.
