Uber, the Victorian Government and the state’s Department of Transport, and the Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will be part of the upcoming three-day symposium organised by Australian Road Research Board (ARRB).

The ARRB Symposium titled ‘Integrated Mobility Impacts 2021′ will be held in Melbourne from November 17 to 19 and will revolve around understanding what the future of mobility will look like.

Uber’s Public Policy and Government Affairs senior advisor, Polly Epov, will discuss the future of delivery and role of micro-freight at the Symposium.

Victoria’s Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, Vicki Ward, will join TMR Chief Engineer Dennis Walsh and Monash University public transport expert Professor Graham Currie to talk policy, technology, public transit and infrastructure.

TMR’s Deputy Director-General Amanda Yeates and Victorian Department of Transport Secretary Paul Younis will be part of a session called What our States Think – outlining their vision for integrated mobility now and into the future.

TMR Director-General Neil Scales OBE has also been confirmed as a speaker for Day Three.

The event will also feature a session called Setting the Scene – The Future of Movement.

ARRB is negotiating with key figures from all levels of government to be a part of this important session, which will lead off proceedings at the ARRB Symposium on Day One.
