This functionality not only enhances safety but also generates valuable data for incident analysis and training purposes.
In addition to external monitoring, IONNIC’s AI-equipped MDRs make use of an optional specialised in-cabin camera to monitor driver behaviour. This camera analyses driver body movements, eye patterns, and facial expressions to detect signs of fatigue or distraction.
When such signs are detected, the system can alert the driver, promoting safer driving habits and reducing the risk of accidents caused by human error.
