Komatsu Rental is helping customers across Australia adapt to changing project demands by providing flexible access to high-quality equipment without the long-term commitment of ownership, with the offering now fully available in Western Australia.

As the construction, quarrying and mining sectors face increasing cost pressures and tighter delivery timelines, rental is becoming a strategic tool for maintaining productivity while preserving capital.

Komatsu’s rental offering gives customers access to a broad range of late-model equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders and dozers, supported by Komatsu’s national branch network. Machines are maintained to OEM standards, ensuring customers receive reliable, job-ready equipment when and where it’s needed.

Geoff Pisani, General Manager of Komatsu Rental, says in today’s economic environment, customers are constantly looking for smarter ways to manage their fleets.

“Rental gives them the flexibility to match equipment to the task at hand, without tying up capital or carrying assets beyond the life of a project. We’ve had strong success with this offering in other states and now we’ve officially launched Komatsu Rental in WA to help support our west coast customers across the core industrial sectors in the region,” Geoff says.

One of the key benefits of Komatsu Rental is scalability. Customers can increase or reduce their fleet size in line with workload fluctuations, seasonal requirements or short-term projects. “This approach helps businesses remain agile, particularly in uncertain market conditions, while still maintaining access to premium equipment,” Geoff says.

Rental also allows customers to stay at the forefront of machine technology. Komatsu’s rental fleet is regularly updated, allowing customers to benefit from the latest advancements in machine performance, safety and efficiency, without the long-term risk of owning equipment that becomes outdated as technology and project needs evolve.

“Our focus is on removing complexity for customers. We want them to concentrate on their operations, knowing the equipment they’re using is backed by Komatsu quality, service and support.

“We’re the only national based OEM rental business in Australia which provides customers with consistent equipment, support and service across every region,” Geoff says.

With local support, preventative maintenance and responsive service, Komatsu Rental provides a reliable alternative to ownership that aligns with modern business needs. Whether supporting a peak in workload, trialling new equipment or covering planned maintenance, Komatsu Rental delivers practical, cost-effective solutions designed around customer success.

Customers can now access Komatsu Rental solutions across Western Australia, with flexible hire options tailored to project requirements – learn more here – www.komatsu.com.au/rental
