The Queensland Government has released a list of 25 projects it is seeking funding from under the Federal Government’s $600 million Northern Australia Roads Program.
NSW will trial connected technology on its roads in a bid to reduce the number of times trucks stop at traffic lights.
Conditions have been set to provide new open public space, cycling and pedestrian infrastructure and environmental protections following community consultation.
The project will remove nine level crossings between Caulfield and Dandenong in Melbourne’s south‐eastern suburbs, as well as rebuild five railway stations.
The construction of Melbourne’s underground rail system – the City Loop – achieved many milestones. It is now an essential cog in the city’s public transport network.
