The Victorian arm of the Master Builders Association has appointed the current head of the Committee for Geelong, Rebecca Casson, as its new CEO.
Ms. Casson, also a board member of Development Victoria, takes up the role early next year, replacing Radley de Silva who is retiring after five years as CEO and 17 years with Master Builders.
Master Builders Association of Victoria President Melanie Fasham said the organisation had flourished under Radley’s leadership and that members, both large and small, have appreciated Mr. de Silva’s efforts on their behalf.
She welcomed Ms. Casson’s appointment to the role, noting her more than 20 years of experience across government, industry and not-for-profit organisations in Australia, the UK and the US.
“Her extensive history of advocacy and outstanding organisational skills make her an exceptional appointment,” Ms. Fasham said.
