McConnell Dowell Group appoint new Executive General Manager

McConnell Dowell Group has appointed Vito Trantino to the newly created position of Executive General Manager Engineering, Technology and Innovation.

This follows Mr Trantino’s previous position within the firm as Engineering Manager Australia and is a change up to the company’s executive team operating model.

According to the McConnell Dowell Group, the new Engineering, Technology and Innovation function will help strengthen customer, consultant and partner relationships, and help provide technical leadership in key specialised areas.

“The new group function will help identify and capitalise on growth opportunities, while providing executive focus on the development of technical solutions for our customers and the Group’s innovation strategy,” McConnell Dowell Group CEO Scott Cummins said.

Mr Trantino said he was excited to have been chosen for the role.

“There are significant opportunities on the horizon in our industry as a result of technological change and innovation, through which will continue to deliver on our Creative Construction brand,” he said.
