The Victorian Government has appointed Tracy Slatter as the new CEO of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC).
Slatter has previously served as CEO of Barwon Water for the past six years and prior to that, as CEO at the City of Port Phillip. Slatter also worked as the Head of Claims at the TAC for four years.
She also serves on the boards of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (Victoria) and Water Services Association of Australia and is Deputy Chair of the Barwon Regional Partnership.
Slatter will take over from Joe Calafiore, following an eight-year term as CEO.

Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC Danny Pearson said the appointment was well deserved and thanked Calafiore for his service.
“Congratulations to Tracey Slatter on her appointment – her experience and expertise will be instrumental in the TAC reaching its goals to support clients and make our roads safer for everyone,” Pearson said.
“Joe Calafiore has fought tirelessly to improve safety on our roads and reduce the number of Victorians affected by the devastation of road trauma – I thank him for his unwavering dedication to the TAC and wish him all the best in his next chapter.”
Slatter will start her role on July 3.
