NHVR appoints new directors

NHVR CEO Sal Petroccitto has said Tony Martin had accepted the Director Regulatory Compliance & Assurance role while Greg Fill was appointed to the role of Director Safety Standards.

“These important roles further strengthen NHVR’s commitment to compliance, assurance and safety in the heavy vehicle industry,” said Mr. Petroccitto.

“Tony will provide additional support and direction in the development and implementation of a range of national operational policies and procedures.

“Greg will be extensively involved in the implementation of NHVR’s Safety Program and associated assurance framework.”

Mr. Martin has reportedly been with the NHVR since 2011 in the role of Manager Regulatory Compliance. According to the NHVR, he has extensive leadership, business management and operational experience in the heavy vehicle regulatory environment, including 15 years with the NSW Roads and Maritime Services in a variety of management and heavy vehicle compliance operational roles.

Mr. Fill also has an extensive career in the transport industry, specialising in the development and implementation of transport-related safety management systems, undertaking safety incident investigations, and building assurance frameworks.
