The Northern Territory Government has awarded 57 construction contracts valued over $31 million in the month of June.
According to Chief Minister Michael Gunner, 100 per cent were awarded to local Northern Territory businesses.
“An investment in infrastructure and a steady pipeline of projects will continue to support industry and economic growth,” Mr. Gunner said.
“Our infrastructure investment in June is supporting more than 100 local jobs and many local businesses.”
Mr. Gunner said local businesses are encouraged to apply for upcoming works, with 20 tenders valued at approximately $33 million currently out to market.
