Qube Heavy Lift’s new TRT ESS Platform Trailer, was recently put through its paces and showing its versatility, especially with the Electronic Steering System steering capability.
The trailers ESS offers all axle steering up to 45° from the centre for maximum control and manoeuvrability.
Together with the ESS Quick Connect system for easy module clip-on mounting, and with the various module configurations – this platform trailer suits Qube‘s multi-functional heavy transport requirements.
Shown here transporting a Vestas (Global leader in sustainable energy solutions) Wind Turbine 30m upper tower section – eventually destined for the Wambo Wind Farm outside of Dalby, Qld – this particular section was loaded directly onto the trailer from the shipping vessel at port.
The trailer also shows its versatility piggybacking a GTC2000 TeleCrawler – both of these items were transported to Qube‘s transitional yard within Port of Brisbane Limits ready in preparation for vessel discharge.
