The WSA Co has released Requests for Tender for the Western Sydney Airport’s Early Earthworks Package, which includes the movement of more than 1.8 million cubic metres of earth on site.
According to a statement from the Federal Government, there has been strong local interest in the Early Earthworks Package, with more than 12 companies invited to tenders for the project.
In addition to the significant earthworks, the package also includes road and drainage works.
Transmission line relocation works are already under way and WSA Co will release further packages of works to market as it continues to make progress towards an operational airport in 2026.
