The South Australian Government has awarded the tender to upgrade sections of the Point Sinclair Road, near Penong, to a local contractor.
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) announced that Ceduna Bulk Hauliers & Earthmovers has been awarded the $534,000 contract to undertake 12 kilometres of re-sheeting on sections of Port Sinclair Road.
The works, aimed at improving ride quality and safety for road users, commenced this month and are expected to be completed by the end of August, weather permitting.
