A second bridge has been opened as part of works on the 2.2-kilometre upgrade of Heathcote Road in New South Wales.
The second bridge to be opened as part of the project has been designed and built to withstand a 1 in 100-year flood event.
The NSW Government is upgrading the 2.2-kilometre section of Heathcote Road between Infantry Parade, Holsworthy and The Avenue, Voyager Point. The $188 million, jointly funded project will help reduce congestion, improve road safety and provide more reliable journeys for all road users.
