Global sensor manufacturer SICK Australia and New Zealand has announced David Crossley as its new Managing Director.
Mr. Crossley took on the role 20 June this year and replaces David Duncan who will lead the Asia/Pacific region as Senior Vice President, APAC, from 1 January 2019.
Before joining SICK, Mr. Crossley headed up the Environmental and Industrial Process business for Australia and New Zealand at Thermo Fischer Scientific.
He has previously held management positions at ABB, Headland Machinery and AMCOR.
Mr. Crossley said he was honoured to lead SICK Australia and New Zealand.
“It‘s a very exciting time for SICK globally as Industry 4.0 takes hold,“ he said.
“The requirement for quality smart sensors to capture data will accelerate and the outstanding team at SICK across Australia and New Zealand are here to support our existing and new customers, to be competitive on the global stage.”
