The specialist asset services, mining and construction group SRG Global has secured two facades contracts in Melbourne and Adelaide, as well as a structures contract with defence, with the three contracts totalling approximately $50 million.

The first infrastructure contract, which SRG Global will deliver in conjunction with Lendlease, on behalf of Charter Hall, will see the companies install specialised cladding elements and curved glazing throughout the tower for the 555 Collins Street project in Melbourne.

The project site works have commenced and the project will run approximately for 20 months.

Once complete the 555 Collins Street project will comprise 50,000 square metres of office space and 2300 square metres of retail space.

The second facade contract is for 60 King William Street development in Adelaide’s CBD, which SRG will deliver in conjunction with Built, also on behalf of Charter Hall.

The scope of this project is to design, supply and install thermally broken high-performance facades. The project will start immediately and run for approximately 24 months.

When complete, the 60 King William Street development will be home to the Federal Government Agency Services Australia.

SRG Global has also secured a contract with Lendlease in the defence sector to provide structures work at the HMAS Stirling facility at Garden island in Western Australia.

This contract, which represents a new sector for SRG Global, will start immediately and will be completed by the end of 2021.

HMAS Stirling is an existing defence establishment located 50 kilometres south of the city of Perth on Garden Island. Stirling is the Royal Australian Navy’s primary base on the west coast of Australia.

David Macgeorge, managing director of SRG Global, said the contract wins were significant as SRG Global diversifies its service sectors.

“We are very pleased to have secured these new contracts. these contract wins highlight the diverse service offering of SRG Global and our ability to operate a broad range of industry sectors with key repeat clients.”

The 555 Collins Street project in Melbourne is the fourth major contract SRG Global has secured with Lendlease on behalf of Charter Hall in Melbourne over the past year.
