Georgiou Group has been selected as managing contractor and will be responsible for the design and construction of the finishing and ancillary works package which includes road and building construction, pedestrian and cycling bridges, service relocation, demolition and landscaping.

It is part of the $8.3 billion Sydney Metro Northwest project, which is set to be the first fully automated metro rail system in Australia.

“This award is the culmination of months of work from our team and we look forward to delivering our first project for a new client, both on time and budget.”

Construction will commence in October 2018 and is expected to be completed in December 2019.
