Salini Impregilo has been awarded this year’s project of the year by US industry magazine Engineering News-Record for its work on the Sydney Skytrain bridge and other civil works for Sydney Metro Northwest.
The railway bridge over Windsor Road at Rouse Hill was dubbed the 2018 Project of the Year by the publication this month, having also been awarded the 2018 Global Best Project for the railway sector by the magazine back in July
The bridge is a curved, cable-stayed structure and part of the four-kilometre viaduct built by Salini Impregilo for Sydney Metro Northwest – the first phase of Sydney Metro.

It is set to open in 2019.
