Essential maintenance work on the 97-year old Mulwala Bridge across the Murray River has finished a month ahead of schedule.
Construction of the Echuca-Moama bridge is expected to be completed and operational by mid-2022 with the bridge spans expected to connect for the first time in late 2021.
Major works on Stage two of the Echuca-Moama Bridge Project were completed in November 2019 and preparations are now underway for stages three and four.
