Australia’s new gateway to the world is on its way, with the official start of construction for Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport’s passenger terminal.
CIMIC Group company CPB Contractors, with its joint venture partner Acciona, has been selected to deliver the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport’s airside civil and pavement works.
The New South Wales Government has granted planning approvals for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, meaning major constructions on the project can commence soon.
A partnership with TAFE New South Wales will provide training opportunities for construction workers building the Western Sydney International Airport.
It has been one year since the first sod turn at Western Sydney Airport and construction is on track and on budget for a 2026 take-off.
