Tasmanian Major Projects Conference postponed to October

The Tasmanian Major Projects Conference has been postponed from 16 & 17 June to the new dates of 28 & 29 October 2020. The conference will be held at the Wrest Point Conference Centre, Hobart.

Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation Expotrade, the company behind the conference, have been regularly consulting with the venue and our stakeholders and have decided to postpone the event until October given current travel restrictions.

The Tasmanian Major Projects Conference will return as Tasmania presents a strong construction sector, booming international tourism numbers and a high-performing economy.

Opportunities for businesses in the infrastructure sector, state-wide, especially in the roads, rail, irrigation, social and tourism sectors will be presented at the conference.

Over two days attendees will experience exclusive stakeholder speeches and 6+ hours of networking sessions, allowing attendees to gain the contacts and insights needed to succeed in the Apple Isle’s rapidly growing infrastructure space.

An Expotrade representative said the company believes it will be in a better position to deliver the TAS Major Projects Conference at full capacity in October offering our event partners and participants the value and exposure they have come to expect from us. We look forward to your support for this event in October 2020.
