Work ramps up for $30 million Belmore Rd ramp upgrades

Following the six-week geotechnical investigation, a review will of environmental factors will be prepared and displayed for community feedback in late 2017.

The upgrade was announced last year and is aimed to improving access to the motorway and reducing congestion.

Federal Member for Banks, David Coleman said key features of the project include new east facing ramps at Belmore Road to allow for a faster entry and exit, as well as improved access to the Sydney CBD.

“The project is expected to improve access and reduce motorists travelling times, reduce congestion and increase capacity on the M5,” Mr Coleman said in a statement.
